Accreditation
The Accreditation team manages the certification element of a number of transport programmes for the Department for Transport, Transport for London and other clients within the public and private sector. This is based on existing skills and experience, including technical know-how on alternative fuels and emissions reduction technology for vehicles, and is supported by many years' experience managing accreditation schemes.
Three key components include:
- Design and development of certification procedures, including setting standards, defining processes and establishing databases.
- Operating certification schemes, including managing ongoing registers, publishing approvals and advising applicants
- Compliance testing and policing to ensure vehicles and equipment continue to meet our standards on an ongoing basis.
